Inspired (constantly) by the work of Jane LaFazio I went out and bought a 5-needle needlefelting machine. Here is some of my art:

This hangs with a needlefelted cord. Love the embellishments. Circles and swirls are my "thing".
This actually hangs 90 degrees (vertically) with the border trim as a hanger.

I had mixed results with this one as the cotton leaves did not needle-in very well.

Swirls again, but lots of embellishment including copper and beads.

Needlefelted squares with flowers cut from dyed dryer sheets, topped with metal swirls. Quilted with tulle on top and colorful trim all around. One of my favs.

  1. Your blog looks great, as do your quilts. I like all your swirls and curls.
